Final 49'r Show

Vago returns to the The 49'r Lounge for a bittersweet farewell. Unless something drastic happens, the Niner will be torn down to make way for a CVS Pharmacy (in case you run out of Paxil between the 30th St and 60th St Walgreens and start to panic). Joining Vago from Dallas, TX is John Lefler. You may know John as the guitarist and keyboardist for Dashboard Confessional, but he is bringing his own brand of acoustic power pop to Omaha. John's an incredibly talented musician and songwriter who you don't want to miss. John will be on Q98.5 FM with Pat and JT Friday morning!

But wait, there's more! For this low low price of $5 (no Canadian money please), you get the Jes Winter Band. Jes and the boys were the first band ever to perform at Maha, and released a brand new EP earlier this year.

Fremont, Of Course

Vago is very honored and proud to have been added to this lineup on July 31st, which so far includes: Desaparecidos, Cursive, Bright Eyes, Lullaby For The Working Class, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings with more to be announced.

As you may know, Fremont is the hometown of 2/3 of Vago. This issue is extremely important to us, and Tom, Danny and Lee individually and collectively are ardent supporters of this cause. The organizers of the Concert for Equality in downtown Benson have granted us the humbling opportunity to be the voice of those in our home town who do not support the new Fremont immigration law. All proceeds go to Nebraska ACLU to help repeal the law.

Besides all that, this is one incredible lineup and amazing show.
